As a client you can expect our full attention to your pet’s needs. We’re all animal lovers and we work hard to create a warm, and comfortable environment for you and your pet.

When you arrive, you will be greeted by our receptionists who will start by asking about your pet’s medical history and the reason for your visit.

One of our veterinarians or technicians will then take you into an exam room. The veterinarian will then give your pet a full physical exam and address any concerns, recommend additional diagnostic testing if needed, and create your pet’s individual care plan. If additional testing is needed, Shady Oak Vet has a full-service laboratory and most tests can be run in the practice. Once the tests have been run your doctor will discuss a possible diagnosis and treatment plan.

This is a great time to ask questions. Our staff wants to make sure you’re completely comfortable with the information we’re providing.

Our technician will likely come back to wrap things up and will provide you with helpful pet care information and answer any wellness care questions you may have. Our front desk will process your payment and schedule any needed follow-up appointments.

Depending on the reason for your visit, you may receive a follow-up phone call from one of our technicians to get an update on how your pet has been doing since their visit.

Full payment is due at time of service. We do not accept payment plans at this time.
